Dupree is the latest addition to the Wind-FM morning show.  While he was born in Port Jefferson, NY, it wasn’t long before his family made the move to Florida, settling in Spring Hill when Dupree was 10 years old.

Dupree was on the path to rock stardom before realizing that fights with his two brothers over which artists were the coolest broke up their high school band.  It was then that he realized, “If you can’t be a famous musician, why not talk about them?”

Dupree’s first venture into radio was in 2003, and after journeying through Tampa, Crystal River, Gainesville, Orlando, and the Nashville area, he brought his family to Wind-FM where he’s been rockin’ on the job as one half of the Hunter and Dupree Morning Show since 2023.

Dupree and his wife, Jessica, have a large brood of four – Brooke, Evan, Maddux, and Nash – plus a Golden Doodle named Charley.
