Two North Central Florida Media (NCFM) employees were recognized during the annual Saga Communications leadership conference at the Zota Beach Resort.
NCFM President/GM Howard Tuuri received the highest honor for a Saga employee – the Marconi Award – which recognizes elite leadership at all levels of an organization from station programming and business performance.
“We’re thrilled to recognize Howard and the entire team at NCFM. Howard continually demonstrates phenomenal leadership capabilities and adapts to new corporate initiatives with excellence,” said Chris Forgy, Saga Communications President/CEO.
Media Advisor Alicia Quartararo was one of three Saga Communications’ elite salespeople selected as a Top Gun performer, and the first to be awarded a second year in a row. Each of Saga’s 27 markets nominated one salesperson who qualified as the best of the best, with 10 sellers named a Top Gun. After further deliberation, the top three salespeople were selected.
“Alicia is a top performer and leader who is very involved in the community,” said Tuuri. “She is an early adopter of new initiatives and manages her business professionally.”
Congratulations to Howard and Alicia! We offer our sincere thanks and gratitude for being model leaders in our industry and community!
