Many people gathering and walking together at an event. Everyone is happy. Boats, logoed signs and tents are visible in the crowd. North Central Florida Media radio stations 93.7 K-Country and 92.5/95.5 Wind-FM hosted the 5th Annual North Central Florida Outdoor Expo on Saturday August 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala!

7,000+ adventure-seekers (including children!) attended the indoor expo for outdoor lovers. The event featured 160 vendors sharing ways to explore and celebrate what the outdoors has to offer in North Central Florida.

Vendors displayed RV’s, boats, guns, apparel, landscaping products, and more. Hands-on activities included ax throwing, target practice, casting, knot tying and archery for the kids. The first 100 attendees received gifts from Crystal River Kayak and Dive Center, Two Men and a Truck, Cracker House Winery, and Bass Pro Shops.

Parking was free for attendees and admission was $5 for adults 18 and over. A portion of the admission proceeds went to charity partner 10 CAN Inc. to help veterans and first responders fight PTSD through outdoor activities.
