North Central Florida Media Group, home of 93.7 K-Country and 92.5/95.5 Wind-FM, announces three winners in its inaugural Champions for Charity contest.
From December 20-January 2, citizens nominated a favorite 501c-3 organization. Then from January 3-January 16, citizens voted for their favorite charity. The three charities with the most votes will each receive a multimedia campaign worth more than $10,000.
The winning charities are the Kathryn Leigh Thurgaland Foundation, Horses Without Humans Rescue Organization and Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue, Inc.
“We are delighted to support the causes selected by our listeners,” said Howard Tuuri, General Manager of North Central Florida Media Group. “The Champions for Charity program will allow us to raise awareness for causes that are important to the communities we serve.”
