Ocala, FL – North Central Florida Media, home of 93.7 K-Country and 92.5/95.5 Wind-FM, announces three winners in its 2nd Annual Champions for Charity contest.
From December 1-14, citizens nominated a favorite 501c-3 organization. Then from December 15-28, citizens voted for their favorite charity. The three charities with the most votes in the categories of children, animals and veterans will each receive a multimedia campaign worth $10,000.
The winning charities are the Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses, Bobby’s Bikes and Operation Shoebox.
“We are delighted to support the causes selected by our listeners,” said Howard Tuuri, General Manager of North Central Florida Media. “The Champions for Charity program will allow us to raise awareness for causes that are important to the communities we serve.”
