FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 16, 2021
From December 20-January 2, citizens can visit the radio stations’ websites to nominate a favorite 501c-3 organization. Then from January 3-January 16, citizens can vote for their favorite charity. The three charities with the most votes will each win a multimedia campaign worth almost $10,000.
“Having the megaphones of K-Country and Wind-FM comes with a responsibility to support the causes and communities we serve,” said Howard Tuuri, General Manager of North Central Florida Media Group. “The Champions for Charity program will allow us to deliver impactful assistance that generates results for causes near and dear to our listeners.”
North Central Florida Media Group is owned by Saga Communications. 93.7 K-Country and 92.5/95.5 Wind-FM offer local programming, a robust database of loyal listeners, and an event marketing department that connects clients with its audience in person.
